Stuart v. ? at Martin Junior High. Winner: Stuart 6-0
Hadn't played in a while and got a little sore afterwards. The score did not reflect the play very much as we got to a lot of deuce and ad points and had some pretty good rallies but I had the better part of persistence and maybe a fresh perspective after having not played.
Played a bunch more tennis after this but no sets...most was just best of three or four games in either singles, doubles or Australian (one against two).

This blog will, among other things, chronicle my attempts to meet my New Year's resolution of playing 365 sets of tennis in 2007. I did let myself start a little more than a month early. Why? Because I can. And because the thought of averaging a set a day for a year is, um, maybe a little overwhelming. I wanted some leeway to deal with the inevitable injuries, rainouts, cancellations, and so on. I also needed time to ramp up and contact people and get a network of people to play. So I have already started 2007 with 34 sets that I played in late November and December of 2006. Anyway, either way, I did play (and even exceeded) my 365 sets for a year, whether you count it from starting early or or from January 1, 2007.
